OUR MISSION
Civic Power of Change connects progressive voices in state and local government with the world-class marketing and communications professionals they need to win in an increasingly complex digital world.
OUR STORY
We actually began as two groups with similar approaches to advancing progressive politics. The Creative Cabinet matched creative and advertising experts to down-ballot candidates and Civic Power Of Media did the same with PR and media professionals. We combined forces in 2018, and in 2020 merged into one powerful, full-service organization – Civic Power of Change. Since then, we’ve grown our network to include dozens of socially conscious professionals from the world’s best marketing and advertising agencies, Fortune 500 companies and the entertainment industry.
Our Founding Family
Co-founder Susan Taylor is a career veteran of the entertainment and advertising industries in film, television and theater. Currently, she is President of an entertainment agency specializing in multi-media planning, execution, search and social services, programmatic targeting & buying, consumer research, data & analytics.

Co-founder Adam Vernick is a digital media executive with more than 18 years of experience working in the LA and San Francisco advertising community. Currently, Adam serves as a Managing Partner for a global media and technology agency, where he oversees the company’s Los Angeles office.

Co-founder Michael Walsh also operates as our design director. He started The Creative Cabinet, CPC’s predecessor, while working for major advertising firms in Boston. He has since settled back in his home state of Virginia.
MICHAEL WALSH (he/him/his)
Jennie Palluzzi is our director of campaign communication. Based in LA, Jennie’s worked in the entertainment and food industries and is deeply dedicated to the arts of operations and organization.
JENNIE PALLUZZI (she/her/hers)
Adam Mack is our creative director. When not cutting trailers or writing our newsletter, he is keeping our Slack community up-to-speed on happenings around the country.

Rebecca Lear is our director of volunteer communication. She’s spent her career working at several PR agencies both in London and Los Angeles, and is the master of all things project management.
